Oppenheimer e marele câștigător de la Globurile de aur din acest an, cu 5 premii câștigate, din cele 8 nominalizări: pentru cel mai bun film, cea mai bună regie (Christopher Nolan), cel mai bun actor în rol principal (Cillian Murphy), cel mai bun actor în rol secundar (Robert Downey Jr.) și cea mai bună coloană sonoră.
Și iată că Barbie, care domina nominalizările din anul acesta la Globurile de Aur (cu 10 nominalizări), a plecat acasă doar cu două: cele mai bune realizări la box-office -- o categorie introdusă în acest an -- și cel mai bun cântec (minunatul What was I made for, al lui Billie Eilish). A fost, de altfel, al doilea cel mai nominalizat film din istoria Globurilor de Aur (după filmul Cabaret).
Ne bucurăm pentru Poor Things, care a câștigat premiul pentru cea mai bună comedie, iar Emma Stone a luat premiul pentru cea mai bună actriță într-un rol de comedie. Lily Gladstone i-a luat fața lui Carey Mulligan (Maestro) și Sandrei Huller (Anatomy of A Fall), câștigând singurul Glob de Aur pentru performanța din Killers of The Flower Moon.
Dar Globurile de Aur sunt mai interesante pentru categoriile de premii dedicate serialelor și TV-ului, fiind un fel de Oscaruri pentru acest tip de producții. Suntem oarecum dezamăgiți că la categoriile cele mai importante pentru seriale au câștigat seriale care nu sunt noi, ci au sezoane noi: Succession și The Bear.
Pentru o industrie care se vrea efervescentă, am fi vrut să vedem producții originale, diferite, surprinzătoare și nou-nouțe intrând în competiție și câștigând. Astfel, Succession a plecat acasă cu 4 premii importante, iar The Bear cu 3.

Discovery (Barbie, Succession, Barry), nu a reușit nici el să materializeze foarte multe dintre cele 27 de nominalizări, Barbie câștigând doar 2 premii.
